Professional Bio
Laura Herberg is a reporter and fill-in anchor at 101.9 WDET, Detroit's NPR station. She's also the executive producer and host of CuriosiD, a podcast where reporters ask questions about Detroit.
Herberg won a regional Murrow Award for best hard news story in 2020 and was named the Michigan Associated Press best reporter for radio broadcasting in 2021 and 2020. In 2012, she was awarded a SoundCloud Fellowship for her project "Listen to Detroit." She also is the creator of Complete Me, a narrative, documentary style podcast about how she has trouble getting things done. She's only released three episodes since the project launched in 2016.
