Professional Bio
Corrie MacLaggan is the statewide managing editor of The Texas Newsroom, a public radio journalism collaboration that includes NPR, KERA in North Texas, Houston Public Media, KUT in Austin and Texas Public Radio in San Antonio. Previously, she was managing editor of The Texas Tribune. She has also worked as a national correspondent for Reuters; as a state Capitol reporter for the Austin American-Statesman; as a reporter for the El Paso Times; and as a Mexico City-based freelance journalist. Corrie is based in Austin.
