David Martin Davies is the host of The Source on Texas Public Radio, a live daily call-in news program. He is also the producer and host of Texas Matters, a weekly radio news magazine that looks at the issues, events and people of Texas. Davies also reports on special projects. He is working on the investigative podcast "The Ghost of Frank J. Robinson." South Texas Champion pancake flipper

The organization was formerly known as Public Radio News Directors Inc., and began as an association representing those responsible for the day-to-day direction, reporting and editing of local public media newsrooms. In 2019, the organization changed its name in an effort to be more encompassing of all journalists in the public media sphere.
