Professional Bio

For more than a decade I have been working in local news. First as a print journalist at The Times-Tribune newspaper in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and now as a multimedia journalist for the recently-formed news department at WVIA, the PBS & NPR member station in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. For the newspaper, I covered education and penned a community news column that appeared in print five days a week. Now for the radio and television, I'm continuing my focus on community-oriented journalism by finding interesting and unique stories throughout communities in 22 counties in WVIA’s corner of the state.
