Pamela James

Pam began her public media career in 1995 as a TV producer for Kansas City Public Television (today KCPBS), creating award-winning documentaries, magazine stories, interstitials, and promos, as well as producing live fundraisers for TV broadcast like pledge and auction. In July 2013, she leapt at the chance to move to Southwest Florida by becoming the Membership & Special Events Manager at WGCU Public Media, based in Fort Myers. In 2018, her role at the station evolved into the Asst. Director of Membership & Communications. Then, in 2020, she returned to her production roots to become the Executive Producer of Content where she’s leading a growing, diverse news team into a multiplatform world.
