Rachel Sun

Rachel Sun is the Inland Northwest Healthcare Reporter at Northwest Public Broadcasting. She grew up in eastern Washington and is an alumna of Washington State University. Rachel's first introduction to public radio was listening to it with her father, often over breakfast or on summer afternoons while helping with outdoor projects.

Before coming to NWPB, Rachel was a city, schools and general assignment reporter for the Bonner County Daily Bee in Sandpoint, Idaho, and previously served in reporter, photographer and editorial positions at WSU’s student newspaper, The Daily Evergreen.

In her free time, Rachel likes to roller skate, paint, draw, and compete in weightlifting competitions.
