Professional Bio

As WVIA managing editor, Faith is responsible for overseeing the content and operations of the news team, as well as digital production and news publication for WVIA News. She plays a key role in shaping the digital, audio and broadcast presence and overall voice of WVIA News.

After her start at The Scranton Times-Tribune in 1996, Faith spent nearly three decades at The Times, initially as a news correspondent and beat reporter and later as a senior editor, overseeing a cross-functional team of reporters, columnists, graphic designers, photographers and historian. Her decades of media experience includes the transition of the newspaper from a print product to a diversified, omnichannel digital platform.

Throughout her 28-year news career, she served in multiple leadership roles, maintaining editorial standards, motivating reporters and building dynamic teams.

She is especially proud of her connections to the community as part of
an ongoing pursuit to report and present stories that impact and serve the region.

Under Faith's leadership at the Times-Tribune, her team has been recognized with multiple national, state and local journalism awards. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit’s Arts in Education organization in partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
