Professional Bio

Lee Wade is a senior at Antioch College, where he studies Interdisciplinary Arts and Creative Practice, focusing on audio journalism and broadcasting. He is an intern at the Eichelberger Center for Community Voices at WYSO Public Radio, where he helps produce stories that highlight lived experience and amplify underrepresented voices.

At the Eichelberger Center for Community Voices, Lee created Translucent, an audio journalism series that uplifts transgender voices and shares stories of identity, community, and resilience, with a focus on narratives in Ohio. He is passionate about using sound as a tool for storytelling, connection, and social impact.

As a PMJA fellow, Lee is excited to continue learning and growing as a journalist, build his reporting skills, and connect with others working to shape the future of public media.
