Professional Bio
I am as enthusiastic about public radio as I was from the back seat of my parents' car as a kid. After a career in environmental engineering and some seasonal jobs with the National Park Service, I got a master's in journalism and worked at Consumer Reports magazine as a factchecker; WSHU Public Radio (reporter, host, news director); WHYY (Keystone Crossroads LJC founding editor, then General Manager, Radio) and now at WAMU (Deputy News Director, Audio). I'm grateful to have served on the PRNDI board and since then watched this organization continue to support public radio journalists.
