Phineas Pope

Phineas Pope is a newscaster for MPR News. Previously, he hosted All Things Considered and Weekend Edition at Northwest Public Broadcasting. He's also worked in production at Iowa Public Radio and Iowa PBS.

Phineas earned a Bachelor of Arts at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he studied piano, organ, and law. Specific interest areas include copyright law, music theory and musicology.
