Jen Picard

Jen Picard has been a journalist for more than two decades and spent 13 years running CapRadio’s daily talk show, “Insight.” She has ample experience working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven news space and brings years of sourcing and show booking to the podcast team. She serves as a producer for CapRadio's current limited-run series' "A Music of Their Own" and "Mid Pacific." She was also instrumental in the production of CapRadio’s final season of “The View From Here: Making Meadowview,” and helped launch “California State of Mind,” a politics-focused podcast in collaboration with CalMatters. She lives on the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada and spends most of her time exploring the public lands of the Golden State.
