Professional Bio

Before working for Boise State Public Radio as a Report for America corps member covering anything from local abortion bans to Afghan refugee soccer cups and Idaho's growing latino population, Julie Luchetta lived in France, East Africa and Mexico.
She eventually landed in Tucson where she was a social worker for people experiencing homelessness.
As a binational and bilingual French American, Luchetta is always on the lookout for stories of border crossings, cultural discomfort and code-switching. That and podcast recommendations. Please send yours over.
