Zach Perez

Zach Perez is the Community Engagement Producer at KCUR 89.3, Kansas City’s NPR affiliate station. His work often takes the form of speaking directly with the many different communities in our region to help KCUR understand how the actions of the news makers they cover impact the lives of everyday people. He also acts as a fill-in producer for KCUR’s morning talk show, Up To Date, and covers a wide range of topics in his reporting, from immigration to gun violence. Outside of KCUR, Zach also works as the Regional Producer for the Kansas City Moth StorySLAM events.
