Professional Bio
Brent is the senior developer on NPR’s editorial graphics team (formerly News Apps), building tools and automation to enhance journalism. He started his career in nonprofit news with the St. Louis Beacon in 2008, later merging with STLPR, where he specialized in data and visualization. He joined NPR in 2023. He’s based in the St. Louis metro area.
