Professional Bio
A. Rima Dael is the CEO of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB). She has over 30 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in Public Media, Arts, Education & the Human Service sectors. Rima came to NFCB after serving as General Manager of WSHU Public Radio and as a board member of National Public Radio (NPR). Before that, Rima worked at New England Public Media (NEPM).
Rima is an integrative, systems-minded executive leader with deep experience modernizing legacy systems and launching mission-critical digital infrastructure. She is an expert in translating complexity into fundable strategy through disciplined execution and through strong partnerships. A season strategist and fundraiser, proven in revitalizing organizations, leading start-ups and turnarounds, launching and scaling impactful programs, and securing critical funding to support sustainable, people-centered strategies. Rima is known for leading with tenacity, humor, and warmth.
