News Organization
For newsrooms and news organizations creating original journalism for public media. Everyone on your team qualifies for membership benefits—from reporters and editors to producers and hosts.
Annual membership dues are based on the station's total revenue:
| Total Revenue | Annual Dues |
|---|---|
| Under $500,000 | $150 |
| $500,001 to $2,000,000 | $500 |
| $2,000,001 to $5,000,000 | $700 |
| $5,000,001 to $10,000,000 | $800 |
| $10,000,001 or more | $1,000 |
Note: PMJA is phasing in these new dues over three years for any renewing member who will see a dues increase of $100 or more. We're currently in year two of this phase-in.
For 2027 renewals: Members will receive a brief online census to update their organization's total revenue amount before renewal invoices are issued.
